Samsung’s next non-foldable flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, is expected to feature the same rear camera sensors as the current one, the Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, two of those cameras, the wide and periscope telephoto units, are said to come with a larger aperture, offering brighter images, especially in low-light conditions.

Now, we finally have images from the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s rear cameras, and the upgraded hardware seems to be making a difference in real life.

Yesterday, Sahil Karoul, an Indian content creator, got his hands on the retail unit of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which surprised everyone, as there are still two days to go for its launch. Since then, he has been revealing many things about the phone. To that extent, he has shared images taken with the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s rear cameras.

Galaxy S26 Ultra's cameras may be offering brighter images

The first, second, and third photos show vegetables, flowers, and a person, respectively. While these images look sharp, bright, and vivid, it is hard to say if the cameras offer any improvements. Sahil hasn't revealed from which camera these photos were taken. We assume that they were taken with the primary camera.

The fourth image also features a human. However, the content creator captured the same scene with the Galaxy S25 Ultra as well, to show us the difference between the two phones' camera performance. As you can see, the image taken with the Galaxy S26 Ultra appears much brighter and sharper.

However, by no means do these images prove that the Galaxy S26 Ultra's rear cameras offer better image quality compared to those from the Galaxy S25 Ultra. To find which one is better, a much more detailed comparison is required. Hopefully, with the launch only three days away, we will soon get our answer.
