This may be our first real-world look at the Galaxy S26.

It seems the first proper leak showing a real Galaxy S26 has finally surfaced. Shared by @Kakooli98 on X, these image appear to reveal a Galaxy S26+ unit. The code engraved near the bottom of the back panel suggests this is a testing prototype and a fully functional device.
This unit is reportedly being sold by someone on eBay, and if this handset belongs to an official Samsung tester, the person responsible may be facing serious consequences. Samsung often turns a blind eye to early leaks and unofficial renders, but an unreleased flagship making such a public appearance would not be treated the same way.
Drama aside, this is the first time we’re looking at an actual Galaxy S26 unit, and it largely confirms what we already expected: the rear design isn’t changing much. The biggest visible difference is the addition of a camera island surrounding the lenses, a design tweak that is coming to all three Galaxy S26 models.
The front doesn’t look dramatically different either, though that’s hardly surprising. Modern smartphones are almost entirely display on the front, leaving little room for meaningful changes.
One small detail does raise questions, however. The device appears to be using the same default wallpaper seen on the Galaxy S25 series. Samsung typically refreshes its stock wallpapers with every new flagship generation, so the presence of an older wallpaper could indicate this is an early test build.
Still, there’s no obvious sign that these images are fake. Fortunately, we won’t have to wait long for confirmation: the Galaxy S26 series is set to be unveiled on February 25.
