Galaxy S25's fourth One UI 8.5 beta now live in the US

Samsung has released the fourth beta version of One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2) for the Galaxy S25 series in the US.

A few hours ago, Samsung finally released the fourth beta version of One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2) for the Galaxy S25 series, an update that people enrolled in the beta program had been waiting for a long time. However, the brand was offering it only in its home country, South Korea. Well, the company has now started rolling it out in more regions.

Samsung has started rolling out One UI 8.5 Beta 4 for the Galaxy S25 lineup in the US. The update is 1,511.28MB in size and carries firmware version S93xUSQU7ZZAL (via Tarun Vats). It fixes five issues present in the previous beta version of the software, which you can check out here, as well as brings the February 2026 security patch. You can read more about the latter here.

If you have enrolled your Galaxy S25 in the One UI 8.5 beta program, you can get the fourth beta version of the software by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. We expect Samsung to start rolling out the latest update in other regions in the next few hours, or at most, in a day or two.

Samsung is expected to debut the stable version of One UI 8.5 with the Galaxy S26 series, which, the brand is said to launch on 25 February 2026.
