Samsung, a longstanding supporter of the Olympics, has highlighted how its devices and Galaxy AI capabilities will help enhance the experience for fans, athletes, and communities at the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026.

As the games have evolved beyond a single venue event, Samsung will utilize its technology to bridge the geography and distance gaps to make the event more connected for athletes and fans alike.

Samsung to support the Winter Games with its technology

Samsung's Galaxy S25 Ultra will be utilized during the Opening Ceremony broadcast to deliver dynamic perspectives alongside the more conventional coverage provided through broadcast cameras. This will expand coverage in sync with existing production workflows.

The company will also equip a select group of volunteers at the event with Galaxy devices featuring Interpreter. This Galaxy AI feature will allow for easier communication between people who speak different languages.

Operational needs during the games will be supported through Samsung monitors that are deployed across Short-Track Speed Skating disciplines. Samsung is also going to set up Galaxy Charging Stations so that people can keep their mobile devices charged up during the long competition and event days.

A Samsung House hub will also be set up at Milan’s historic Palazzo Serbellon where athletes, partners, and media will come together to share moments, stories, and conversations as part of the event. It will be an invitation-only space.

Samsung has also launched the Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition that has some cosmetic changes to commemorate the 2026 Winter Games.
