The Galaxy A5x series is arguably one of the most important in Samsung's product lineup. It does incredible numbers every year, selling tens of millions of units across the globe.
The company has significantly improved the device's capabilities over the past few years, and the upcoming Galaxy A57 will stick to those lines and likely deliver another banger.
Leaks and rumors about the Galaxy A57 have been pouring in for the past couple of months. Samsung is expected to officially unveil its new premium mid-rangers, the Galaxy A57 and the Galaxy A37, in the coming weeks.
So it's not surprising, then, that images of the Galaxy A57 have now leaked online. Images of the device were included in a regulatory filing made in China, and this particular source has proven to be quite accurate in the past.
Samsung is making some meaningful design changes to the device. It's reportedly thinner than its predecessor, boasts a revamped camera island, and a raised key island on the right side of the frame where the buttons will live.
As far as the specs are concerned, Samsung is expected to equip this device with an Exynos 1680 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage. No major camera upgrades are expected, though. The device could have a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
