Samsung is expected to launch its next lineup of non-foldable flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S26 series, next month. So far, there have been plenty of leaks about the upcoming phones, revealing their major hardware and software upgrades they may bring. Now, we are learning about a smaller yet very useful software feature these phones may offer.

On X, Ahmed Qwaider claims that on the Galaxy S26, after adding an event to the calendar, when you are chatting with someone over Instagram, SMS, or WhatsApp about a meeting or arranging an appointment for the same day (and time) as the event you had scheduled in the calendar earlier, the device will notify you that you are busy on the said day/time.

This feature will prevent you from scheduling two meetings on the same day/time. We assume that for this feature to work, the Galaxy S26 series phones will have to analyze everything that you type using Galaxy AI, which could not only consume a considerable amount of processing power but also hog battery. It could also be a privacy concern for many.

To that extent, the Galaxy S26 lineup may provide people with an option to disable the feature. At the moment, there’s also no information about the name of this feature. Hopefully, we will get to know more about it as the launch of these phones gets closer. There’s also no information if Samsung plans to extend this feature to older phones with One UI 8.5.
