Samsung’s latest smartphone with a book-style foldable display, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, brings a ton of improvements over the Galaxy Z Fold 6. One among them is an upgraded rear camera setup.
While it features the same ultrawide and telephoto cameras, it has a new primary camera, a 200MP unit, as opposed to the 50MP shooter on the Galaxy Z Fold 6, a first in the lineup.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is also the first smartphone with a book-style foldable display featuring a 200MP primary camera at the rear. Well, Oppo seems to be following in Samsung’s footsteps.
According to a report about Oppo’s next smartphone with a book-style foldable display, the Find N6, it will feature a 200MP primary camera at the rear, similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 7. With Oppo following in Samsung's footsteps, other Chinese smartphone brands could jump on the bandwagon.
The Oppo Find N6 is said to feature a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution on the outside and an 8.12-inch foldable AMOLED display with 2K resolution on the inside. Both screens may feature a 120Hz refresh rate.
The phone is expected to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, and a 6,000mAh battery capacity. The device is said to have a thickness of 8.93mm and weigh 225 grams.
