Earlier this week, Samsung opened the One UI 8.5 beta program for Galaxy smartphones, giving people an early experience of the new software, which brings many visual changes as well as new features. Well, since then, the brand has made a little tweak to it: A redesigned card for YouTube in Now Brief.
Earlier, the YouTube card in Now Brief, which recommends videos to watch, displayed videos as a list, vertically. As a result, it could show only two videos. Now, it shows recommendations in a carousel, horizontally, which you can swipe through. With that, it now shows up to ten videos, as well as larger feature image for each video.
Old (Left) vs New (Right)
Not seeing YouTube videos in your Now Brief feed? They probably aren't enabled, but you can change that by opening Now Brief settings, tapping Content to include, and enabling the YouTube switch. If you have multiple Google accounts on the device, you will be able to select the one you want to use for Now Brief.
So far, Samsung has opened the One UI 8.5 beta program for the Galaxy S25 series. Soon, the brand may expand it to the Galaxy Z lineup of phones and older Galaxy S series devices. You can check out if your Galaxy phone is eligible to get the new software here. You can also take a look at our video below to know more about One UI 8.5.
