Samsung has announced that it has partnered with Turkish Airlines to help you easily find your lost or delayed luggage. This is made possible through Samsung Find and the Galaxy SmartTag object location tracker. You can now easily share a tracking link with the airline to track your valuables.
Samsung and Turkish Airlines have launched the Smart Tagged Baggage Service, which allows Turkish Airlines passengers to easily track and find lost or delayed baggage using the Galaxy SmartTag and the SmartThings Find service. The company's object location tracker uses Bluetooth Low Energy (LE), Ultra-Wideband (UWB), and a network of 700 million Galaxy devices to track and locate phones, tablets, smartwatches, Galaxy Buds, and Galaxy SmartTags.
Turkish Airlines can recover lost baggage equipped with the Galaxy SmartTag when you share the tracking link from the Samsung Find app. You can also use the ‘Change Device Image' feature to upload the actual image of your baggage, which could help airline officials in tracking your belongings.
Samsung plans to expand this programme and work with other airlines globally to help Galaxy users. Turkish Airlines plans to use SmartThings for more than baggage management. It plans a long-term collaboration with Samsung to improve customer experience through AI and other software solutions.
