Samsung has released the One UI 8.0 (Android 16) update for the Galaxy Tab A9 in Korea. Here are more details.

Samsung, in its One UI 8.0 (Android 16) rollout schedule for Korea, said that the brand will offer the update to the Galaxy Tab A9 in November 2025.
Well, just as the company had promised, it has started rolling out the One UI 8 update to the Galaxy Tab A9 in Korea (via Samsung Community forum).
The update is 2,592.91MB in size and carries firmware version X11xXXU6DYK3, as you can see in the image below. Along with One UI 8 and Android 16, it also brings the October 2025 security patch, which fixes many security issues. One UI 8 brings a new user interface and many new features, which you can check out at the end of the post.
To update your Galaxy Tab A9 with the latest firmware, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Samsung’s One UI 8 rollout schedule for India says that the Galaxy Tab A9 will get the update in November. Considering that, we think that the brand will release the update in other regions in the next few days.
