Samsung has released a new software update for the Galaxy F15 5G. It brings the much-awaited One UI 8.0 (Android 16) that offers a new user interface as well as many new features, and the October 2025 security patch, which fixes many security issues.
Currently, Samsung is rolling out the update in India. It is 2,312.55MB in size and carries firmware version E156BXXU7CYJ5, as you can see in the screenshot below (via Samsung Community). To get it, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
You can check out all the upgrades that One UI 8 brings by clicking here or in our video below. However, note that Samsung may not offer all of them on the Galaxy F15 5G, including those requiring higher processing power, which only new and high-end devices offer, such as Now Brief.
Speaking of software updates, the Galaxy F15 5G is eligible to get Samsung’s next major software update, One UI 8.5. It is based on Android 16 QPR2, which is a newer version of Android 16 than the one One UI 8 uses. It offers a new UI and new features, which you can check out here.
