Recently, Samsung released software updates to the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S24 series that offered the February 2025 security patch. Now, the company is rolling out the latest security update to its flagship lineup of smartphones from 2023. However, only one of the devices in it is getting it at the moment, the Galaxy S23 FE.
Samsung is rolling out a new software update the Galaxy S23 FE and it brings the February 2025 security patch, which fixes a bunch of security issues. However, the company has made the update available only for the variant of the smartphone that it sells in Korea (SM-S711N). It carries the firmware version S711NKSS5BYB1.
To get the update on your Galaxy S23 FE, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install. You can also download it from our database or any other trusted source and install the firmware using the Odin software on a Windows PC. We expect Samsung to release it to other phone variants in the next few days.
Samsung is expected to start rolling out Android 15-based One UI 7.0 to eligible devices, which includes the Galaxy S23 FE, very soon.
