With a new device, there's always the expectation that it's going to bring some design changes. That's what Samsung fans expect from the Galaxy Z Fold 4 as well. Some early renders of the device had leaked online as well, providing us with an idea of what the device may look like.

However, early renders may not always be accurate. One of the most apparent design changes that we saw in those renders is apparently not going to happen. That's according to a leaker on Twitter with a track record accurate leaks.

Galaxy Z Fold 4 might be shunning an expected design change

The early renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 suggested that there may be redesigned camera cutouts on the new device. That claim has been rubbished by @Mr_TechTalkTV who claims that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 camera cutouts are actually quite similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 3. The leaker also mentions that the device “for sure” has a 50-megapixel main camera.

There have been some rumors already about the Galaxy Z Fold 4 camera specs. It's expected to feature a 50-megapixel main camera with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera that offers 3x optical zoom.

Earlier reports have also indicated that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is going to measure 155x130x7.1mm when folded and 158.2×128.1×6.4mm when unfolded. The device's internal foldable display may also have an under-display camera, much like its predecessor.

Other specs are expected to include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor with a 4,400mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. The phone may likely feature an IPX8 water resistance rating in addition to wireless and reverse wireless charging.

Do keep in mind that none of these “leaks” have been backed up by official information at this point in time. So it's best to take it with a grain of salt. The great thing is that the official launch isn't far away. Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 4 early next month.
