Samsung has announced that according to a new market analysis by Omdia, the South Korean tech giant was the number one brand for digital signage in the world in 2023, making it the fifteenth consecutive year the company is leading in this space. According to the research firm, Samsung had a market share of 33% and sold over two million units, which was the highest number of digital signage units the company sold in a year so far.
The new milestone doesn’t come as a surprise considering the innovations the company makes in the digital signage field and the products it offers. Take Samsung’s flagship digital signage, The Wall for example. It’s the world’s first modular display with microLED technology, and some of the world’s biggest brands, including Lucid Motors, are using it for some interesting purposes. Samsung also offers other types of digital signage, including, Smart Signage, Outdoor Signage, and Samsung Interactive Display.
Commenting on the latest achievement, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, Hoon Chung, said: “Achieving first place in the global display signage market for 15 consecutive years reflects our commitment to innovation and our ability to adapt to evolving market conditions and the needs of our customers.” “We will continue to provide the highest value to our customers by offering specialized devices, solutions and services that address their diverse needs,” he further added.
