Earlier this year, when Samsung revealed its new TV lineup, it announced that Galaxy Watch users can watch their live workout stats on the new TVs. That feature was released to Galaxy Watches in Korea and other global markets. The Galaxy Watch 6 series is now getting that feature in the USA.

Galaxy Watch 6 gets workout integration with Samsung TVs in USA

The new update for the Galaxy Watch 6 comes bearing firmware versions R935USQU1AXB7 and R945USQU1AXB7 for the 40mm and 44mm versions, respectively. The update comes with firmware versions R955USQU1AXB7 and R965USQU1AXB7 for the 43mm and 47mm versions of the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic.

After installing the new update, Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic users can see their live workout statistics, including the heart rate and calories burned, on compatible Samsung TVs featuring Samsung Daily+. The new feature is only available on Samsung smart TVs released in 2024, so it doesn't work with older Samsung TVs.

This feature allows you to follow workout videos on Samsung Health on Samsung TVs, and you can check whether you're at the proper tempo during the workout by looking at your vitals on the big screen.
