As you might know, Samsung released the budget-friendly Galaxy F15 5G in India earlier today. As is tradition for F-branded phones in India, the Galaxy F15 is available through Samsung's online store, Flipkart, and other authorized retailers in the country. And speaking of sales, Samsung India's Vice President of MX Business has set a high target for the F15.

Recent reports citing Vice President Aditya Babbar (via Republic) say that Samsung India intends to sell roughly 2 million Galaxy F15 5G units within 12-15 months.

Samsung India's VP is confident that the Galaxy F15 5G will succeed and reach its target because the phone punches above its weight class. It is equipped with a Super AMOLED 90Hz 2340 x 1080 display with 800 nits of brightness, a 50MP primary camera, Samsung Knox security, and 5G connectivity — just to name a few of its standout features.

In addition, Samsung guarantees four major Android OS upgrades and five years of security patches for the Galaxy F15 5G, thus offering more value for money for customers who want to use their phones for longer.

What does the Galaxy F15 5G cost in India?

Samsung has released the Galaxy F15 in two storage configurations, one featuring 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and the other with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The 4GB+128GB model costs INR 15,999 ($193), whereas the 5GB variant is available for INR 16,999 ($205). Customers buying the Galaxy F15 using select credit or debit cards can benefit from INR 1,000 cashback. Color options include Ash Black, Groovy Violet, and Jazzy Green.

The Galaxy F15 5G ships with Android 14 and One UI 6.0 and offers basic features like dual-SIM, NFC, expandable storage, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm headphone port.

The phone is powered by a 6,000mAh battery with 25W charging capabilities. It does not ship with a wall charger in the box. But if you buy the Galaxy F15 5G now, you can also grab the 25W Samsung charger at a discount for just INR 299 ($4).
