    Samsung showcases Galaxy S24 at Galaxy Experience Space in Barcelona ahead of MWC 2024

    Ahead of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 expo later this month, Samsung has started showcasing the Galaxy S24 series in Barcelona, Spain. The devices are being showcased at the Galaxy Experience Space on the 15th at Plaza de Catalunya, which is the center of Barcelona city.

    The Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra are Samsung's first AI phones. They all feature several AI-powered features that are useful in day-to-day life use cases. All those features, coupled with the hardware and software improvements, can be experienced by people in Barcelona from today until March 29, 2024, at the Galaxy Experience Space. Users can try out all the Galaxy AI features, including real-time language translation during voice calls, Interpreter mode, AI-powered image editing, Generative AI-powered wallpaper generator, voice transcription and tagging, and webpage summarization.

    Samsung will also showcase the Galaxy S24 series in front of consumers, media, and partners who are traveling to the MWC 2024 expo in Barcelona. Samsung has also put up a giant outdoor advertisement for the Galaxy S24 Ultra at the Plaza Catalunya in Barcelona.

    Galaxy S24 features and specifications

    The Galaxy S24 series has a Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen with 2,600 nits peak brightness, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic fingerprint reader. The Galaxy S24 Ultra features a titanium frame and Gorilla Glass Armos protection for the screen. The Gorilla Glass Armor protection panel features an anti-glare coating that cuts 75% of reflections to improve visuals. The Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24+ have the Exynos 2400 processor, 12GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage, while the Galaxy S24 Ultra has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy processor, 12GB RAM, and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage.

    All three phones are equipped with 12MP selfie cameras, while the Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24+ have 50MP primary cameras, 12MP ultrawide cameras, and 10MP telephoto (3x zoom) cameras. The Galaxy S24 Ultra has a 200MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 10MP (3x zoom) telephoto camera, and a 50MP telephoto (5x zoom) camera. The Galaxy S24 has a 4,000mAh battery with 25W charging.

    The Galaxy S24+ has a 4,900mAh battery, while the Galaxy S24 Ultra has a 5,000mAh battery, both featuring 45W charging. All three phones have 15W fast wireless charging and 4.5W reverse wireless charging. All three devices run Android 14-based One UI 6.1 out of the box with several AI features. They will get seven major Android OS updates and seven years of security updates.
