    Galaxy A04e grabs new features with Android 14 (One UI 6.0) update

    Samsung has released the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update to the Galaxy A04e. This is among the last smartphones from Samsung to have received the Android 14 update, and it is the phone's second big software update after its official launch.

    Galaxy A04e finally gets Android 14 update

    The Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update for the Galaxy A04e comes with firmware version A042FXXU6DXA3, and it is rolling out in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. It also includes the December 2023 security patch that fixes over 75 security flaws discovered in the previous version of the software. The update could be released in more countries within the next few days.

    If you have a Galaxy A04e and live in any of the countries mentioned above, you can check for the Android 14 update on your phone. To do that, you have to open the Settings app on your phone, navigate to Software update and tap Download and install. Alternatvely, you can download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.

    Samsung launched the Galaxy A04e in late 2022 with Android 12 onboard. The entry-level smartphone received the Android 13-based One UI 5.1 update in early 2023.
