The list of Galaxy smartphones that have been updated to Android 14/One UI 6 continues to get longer. Samsung has been focusing on releasing the update to mid-range phones all through December and has now made it available for the Galaxy M54.

The Galaxy M54 hit retail shelves in April this year with Android 13 and One UI 5.1 onboard, making Android 14 its first major OS upgrade. It is eligible for a total of four Android OS upgrades, so it will go all the way up to Android 17. Samsung also launched the Galaxy F54 a few months back with the same specs as the Galaxy M54, so it should also be getting the Android 14 update soon.

Coming back to the M54, its One UI 6 update has debuted in some Middle Eastern countries and comes with firmware version M546BXXU3BWL1 and the November 2023 security patch. It includes almost all the features and changes that One UI 6 and Android 14 bring to Samsung's flagship phones.

If you own a Galaxy M54, you can check if the Android 14 update is available by opening the phone's Settings app, selecting Software update, and tapping Download and install. It's a 2GB+ download size and will take a few minutes to install, so be sure the phone is sufficiently charged before hitting the install button.

You will also find the Android 14 firmware for the M54 in our firmware archive and can use it as an alternate method to upgrade the phone using a Windows PC.
