Without taking advantage of any of these trade-in deals, you're looking at a price of $799 for the Galaxy S23 with 128GB of storage. However, there is a way to get a 5% discount regardless of whether you want to trade-in or not.

When you visit Samsung's online shop on a mobile device, you'll be prompted to install the Shop Samsung app. If you go ahead and install the app and buy the Galaxy S23 through the app, you'll get a 5% discount, which drops the Galaxy S23's price to $759 before trade-in.

You can combine this 5% discount with a trade-in, which means you can upgrade from an older Galaxy S model to the Galaxy S23 by exchanging your old phone and paying only $259 (or more, depending on what you want to exchange).

Other Shop Samsung app offers

On top of the 5% discount you can get from buying the Galaxy S23 via the official Shop Samsung app, you can get a 50% discount on cases and a 35% discount on battery packs during checkout.

And if you want to pair the Galaxy S23 with a new pair of earbuds, you can buy the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro alongside the new flagship phone for an extra $99 instead of the usual $229.
