Samsung is gearing up for the launch of its fitness tracker, the Galaxy Fit 3. A few days ago, the design of the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 surfaced, thanks to some leaks. As of now, the device has received BIS and TUV Rheinland certification, revealing some key specs of this new fitness tracker from the South Korean giant.

According to the design renders, as per our earlier report, the Galaxy Fit 3 will come with a button on the right side, a heart rate sensor, and non-removable straps. As per the BIS certification, the Galaxy Fit 3 will carry the model number SM-R390, and considering that the tracker has received BIS certification (Bureau of Indian Standards), an India launch is imminent.

The Galaxy Fit 3 could be a bit more expensive than the Galaxy Fit 2

The TUV Rheinland certification gives a peek into the internals of the device. The TUV certification reveals that the Galaxy Fit 3 will pack a 200 mAh battery, which is 41 mAh bigger than the Galaxy Fit 2. The listing also shows that the device will support 5W charging. Well, that is all the information that both the BIS and TUV Rheinland certifications (via MySmartPrice) reveal about the upcoming Galaxy Fit 3.

Previous leaks have hinted that the Galaxy Fit 3 will debut in a rose gold color, but nothing is confirmed as of yet. Samsung could also equip the Galaxy Fit 3 with GPS, which was missing from the earlier variants and could boot Android OS instead of rtOS. There is a buzz in the rumor mill suggesting that the Galaxy Fit 3 could come with built-in storage and could offer stand-alone music playback.

The pricing of the device hasn't been revealed, but it could be more expensive than the Galaxy Fit 2, which came with a price tag of INR 3,999. There are no details on when Samsung plans to unveil the device.
