Samsung has been bringing features from its high-end phones to lower-end devices over the past few years. First, it was the IP68 rating, and then it was OIS in the camera and four years of Android OS updates. Now, the company is eyeing to bring higher quality display technology to even some of its cheapest phones.

It is being reported by TheElec that Samsung is planning to bring an OLED screen to its Galaxy A1x series phone next year. So, if this report is accurate, the South Korean firm could launch the Galaxy A15 in early 2024 with an OLED screen. The phone's possible design was leaked a few weeks ago, and it looks similar to other phones from Samsung's lineup, featuring individual camera rings.

    Leaked Galaxy A15 specifications

This year, Samsung brought an OLED screen to the Galaxy A24. It has a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The Galaxy A15 could also feature a similarly large OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution, considering that both 4G and 5G versions of the Galaxy A14 feature Full HD screens. It has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, too.

Going by previous reports, the Galaxy A15 has a triple-camera setup on the rear. The smartphone will be available in both 4G and 5G versions, and the 4G version of the phone could have the MediaTek Helio G99 processor. The 5G version of the Galaxy A15 could be powered by the Exynos 1430 chip and have a 5,000mAh battery. It could also feature 25W fast charging.
