Samsung has launched the Galaxy M34 5G in India. It is a mid-range Android smartphone that is a slightly modified version of the Galaxy A34 5G. It features a mid-range Exynos processor, a 50MP OIS triple-camera setup, and a huge battery. However, it cuts down on some features of the Galaxy A34 5G, including the IP67 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Galaxy M34 5G features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also features up to 1,000 nits peak brightness, Vision Booster, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phone has a 50MP primary rear camera with OIS and 4K 30fps video recording. It is joined by an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, the phone has a 13MP selfie camera with 4K 30fps video recording. It also comes with the Monster Shot feature, which is a rebadged version of Single Shot. It captures a fun set of four images and four videos in a series. It also features Nightography for brighter images in low-light conditions.
Samsung has equipped this smartphone with the Exynso 1280 processor, 6GB/8GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage. It has a microSD card slot for storage space expansion. It features a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 6,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. The phone comes with Android 13 onboard, and Samsung has promised to offer four major Android OS updates to the phone, just like the Galaxy S23 series. The phone also features Fun Mode, Samsung Pay (Tap & Pay), and Voice Focus.

The Galaxy M34 5G is priced at INR 17,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage version of the phone is priced at INR 18,999. Samsung is offering a limited-period discount of INR 1,000, so the effective price of the phone starts from INR 16,999 for the initial few days after its launch on July 15, 2023.
