Samsung has installed four outdoor LED displays from the XHB series for the Vatican in St. Peter's Square. Two of these panels measure 7.935m x 4.83m. The other two LED displays measure 5.865m x 3.105m.
These outdoor signages have been installed strategically to create an immersive experience and allow more visitors to see and hear events.
Story continues after the video
Samsung's giant outdoor displays from the XHB series are bright and have a high contrast ratio to generate true-o-life imagery. But high-quality video is only one part of the equation. These IP66-certified signages installed at the Vatican also feature Harman Kardon audio solutions with Adaptive Sound technology to generate clear and balanced panoramic sound throughout St. Peter's Square during ceremonies and celebrations.
This isn't the first time Samsung and Vatican City have collaborated. In 2020, the Korean company installed two indoor displays at the Nervi Auditorium. And, earlier this year, Samsung announced that the Pontifical Swiss Guard, responsible for protecting the Pope and the Papal Palace, has employed Samsung Knox digital security measures.
