Samsung is changing its warranty policy for Enterprise Edition Galaxy devices released in 2023. The change benefits customers, as they can take advantage of an extended commercial warrant, regardless of whether or not they have the Care+ package.

Samsung initially offered a 2-year commercial warranty for Enterprise Edition devices. Today, the company announced it will extend the commercial warranty to three years for select devices, namely those released in 2023.

More specifically, the new policy affects the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy S23 and S23 Ultra, Galaxy A34, Galaxy A54, and even the newly launched Galaxy Tab S9 FE and S9 FE+.

With this change, Enterprise customer can now benefit from a total of four years of commercial warranty if they attach a Samsung Care+ for Business plan to their devices.

Extended warranty policy might vary by market

Samsung announced its new extended warranty policy for Enterprise devices through its French newsroom portal, where the Director of Professional Mobile Business at Samsung Electronics France said “[…] This initiative reflects our commitment to providing the highest quality products and services to support the success of our business partners.”

However, for more information about the Enterprise Edition range, Samsung is guiding readers to the English Enterprise Edition portal, which means the extended warranty policy could be in effect in more countries beyond France. Nevertheless, the policy change might be market-dependent and might not apply everywhere the company sells devices for enterprises.

Enterprise Edition devices offer up to five years of security patches just like most commercial Galaxy phones and tablets these days, free access to the Knox Suite for one year, and now three years of commercial warranty, presumably where applicable. Knox Suite offers the tools required for administrators to secure, deploy, manage, and analyze Galaxy devices in their company's fleet.

Smartphone GPUs have become insanely powerful over the last few years, but there's no denying the fact that a lot of that power goes to waste when it comes to mobile games. Game developers also don't take advantage of features such as high refresh rate displays. 120Hz displays are quite common on smartphones these days, but […]
