One UI 6.0 beta 2 is now available for the Galaxy S22 in the UK

Samsung is making progress with its One UI 6.0 update. Not long after the company formally announced One UI 6.0 at SDC23, it started rolling out the 2nd beta update for the Galaxy S22 series in the UK, possibly other markets, too.

One UI 6.0 beta 2 for the Galaxy S22 is now reportedly open to testers in the UK. The update's firmware version is S90xBXXU6ZWJ3, and the package includes the October 2023 security patch. It has a size of roughly 1.36GB (via @tarunvats33).

What's new in One UI 6.0 beta 2 for the Galaxy S22?

Samsung's beta changelogs are sometimes inaccurate or incomplete, but for what it's worth, the tracker states the following:

• Improved icon disappearance when changing Home layout while using no gesture hint.
• Improved the issue of not seeing icons or not touching Quick panel in specific situations.
• Improved app crash such as Smart surge, Launcher, Camera, etc.
• Applied Google Stabilization code.
• Applied the latest security patch.

While we're on the topic of erroneous changelogs, there is no app called “Smart surge.” Maybe Samsung meant to say Smart Switch, but regardless, the point remains that beta changelogs are not always accurate.
