Samsung has confirmed that it will launch the Galaxy M34 5G smartphone in India on July 7, 2023, reports FoneArena. The company hasn’t announced the launch date publicly yet. At least not on the official website, communication channels, or social media accounts. There are also no details regarding the launch time and whether the tech giant will stream the launch event of the device live on YouTube. That being said, expect Samsung to reveal those details in the next few days.

Since the Galaxy A34 5G hasn’t launched anywhere else, the phone’s India launch will serve as its global debut. Typically, Galaxy M-series devices are slightly modified versions of Galaxy A-series phones. So, expect the Galaxy M34 5G to be similar to the Galaxy A34 5G, which was launched in March this year. Along with Samsung confirming the launch date, Amazon India has created a teaser page for the device, and it reveals the key specifications of the Galaxy M34 5G.

    Galaxy M34 5G official specifications

According to the webpage, the Galaxy M34 5G will feature a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Infinity-U notch. It will have three cameras at the rear, and the primary sensor will be a 50MP unit. The camera will feature Monster Shot 2.0, which can capture four images and record four videos with a single touch of the shutter button. There will also be a Nightography mode onboard. It will help in taking better photos in low light. Lastly, Samsung says that the phone will feature a 6,000mAh battery.

Unfortunately, that’s all the teaser page reveals. The company hasn’t mentioned details regarding the phone’s processor, RAM, storage, Android version, front camera, charging wattage, and build. That being said, we already have most of those details, thanks to previous leaks of the device. According to various reports, the Galaxy M34 5G will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC, up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, Android 13 with One UI 5.1, 32MP selfie camera, 25W charging, and of course, 5G connectivity.

    Galaxy M34 5G price

Currently, there’s no information regarding the price of the Galaxy M34 5G. However, considering that it will be a slightly downgraded variant of the Galaxy A34 5G, the upcoming Galaxy M-series smartphone should carry a slightly lower price tag than its A-series counterpart. In India, the Galaxy A34 5G starts at INR 30,000 (approximately $365), which means one can expect the Galaxy M34 5G to start around INR 25,000 (approximately $304.83) in the Indian market.
