Good Lock apps mysteriously disappeared from Samsung phones for a day

Samsung says it has recovered from an error that affected Good Lock users. It's unclear if this issue affected only users in South Korea or if it was widespread. But if you found some of your Good Lock apps missing during the past couple of days, this server-side error was probably the culprit.

According to the company, an issue with the Galaxy Store yesterday caused Good Lock apps to be downloaded abnormally. As a result, if you downloaded apps like NotiStar and QuickStar (and possibly others) yesterday but couldn't use or find them at all, you most likely encountered this server-side error. It seemed like apps were being, but then they were nowhere to be found, leaving many users scratching their heads and wondering what was going on.

Thankfully, your phone is not broken, and all should be back to normal now. Samsung confirmed through its community forum that it fixed the Galaxy Store issue, and Good Lock downloads should now work as they're supposed to. If the problem persists and you still can't find some of your Good Lock modules on the phone after downloading them, you may have to delete Good Lock data or uninstall the app and start over again.

It's also worth noting that Samsung rolled out a Good Lock update earlier today, version 2.2.04.63. It weighs around 11.15MB and claims to have fixed some bugs. Whether or not the recent Good Lock update is connected to these server-side issues concerning missing modules is unclear, but if you want to be on the safe side, you may want to get the latest Good Lock version for your phone.
