Windows 11 brought widgets back to the Windows platform. However, earlier, very few useful widgets were available, and most of them were from Microsoft itself. Over the past few months, the company has added widgets from third-party services like Facebook and Spotify. Now, it is bringing some really useful widgets to Windows 11, allowing you to use them on your Samsung laptops.

According to a report from NeoWin (via TheVerge), Windows 11 will get four new widgets for CPU, GPU, Memory, and Network Activity monitoring. These features were discovered in the Dev Home app's preview build on Windows 11. The CPU widget shows CPU clock speed, utilization, and apps that have been consuming the most CPU time. The GPU widget shows GPU utilization and temperature. There is also a button to go to the next GPU. The Memory widget shows the amount of cached, committed, paged, and non-paged memory usage. The Network widget shows send and receive speeds.

You can already get this info through Game Bar widgets that you can access by pressing Windows + G keys. However, you can also use these new widgets by pressing the Windows + W key combo if you don't want to use the Xbox Game Bar. These new widgets seem a bit buggy as of now, and they could get better by the time Microsoft releases the stable version of Windows 11 with these widgets built-in.

Microsoft had also announced at its Build 2023 developers conference that it will allow users to disable MSN news stories and videos from the widgets pane on Windows 11.
