Samsung is rolling out a new update to Samsung Group Sharing, adding a handful of new and convenient features. The latest version of Samsung Group Sharing comes in at 13.1.12.3.

Three main additions come to Samsung Group Sharing with version 13.1.12.3, which the company started rolling out yesterday.

Firstly, Samsung Group Sharing now allows users to send invites through a link. Secondly, shared family albums have been added. And thirdly, Samsung Group Sharing now supports child accounts. Here's what Samsung shared through its official changelog:

    • Added “Invite with a link” feature
    • Added shared family albums
    • Supports child accounts

Galaxy device users should get a notification about the update, or they open the Galaxy Store app on their Samsung devices, tap the “Menu” button in the lower-right corner of the screen, and tap “Updates” at the top to see if any app updates are waiting for them.

If you haven't yet updated Samsung Group Sharing to version 13.1.12.3, the new release should be there in the “Updates” list on the Galaxy Store. And if it isn't, keep in mind that app updates are released in waves, so you might not yet have access to the latest version. But sit tight, and you should get the new update within days.

Samsung’s product naming has a grammar problem

Samsung’s product naming has a grammar problem

I'm a big fan of Samsung using proper nouns to label most of its home electronics. For instance, PC monitors names are no longer just a string of seemingly random letters and numbers. Instead, they belong to lineups named ‘Odyssey' or ‘ViewFinity.' It makes Samsung look better instead of coming across as a company that […]

The US FTC (Fair Trade Commission) has ordered Samsung to stop unfair business practices in the country.
