Apart from its latest smartphones, laptops, and Galaxy ecosystem features, Samsung will also showcase its latest OLED panels at the MWC 2023 expo. Samsung Display said that it has set up a booth with the theme of ‘Hyper-Connected through OLED,' and it is returning to MWC after a hiatus of five years.

From February 27 to March 2, 2023, visitors can check out various technologies developed by Samsung Display at its booth at the Fira Gran Via Conference Center in Barcelona, Spain. The company is showcasing the lightweight, durable, and water-resistant properties of OLEDs through entertaining experiments. Visitors can dunk the OLED screens, float them in the air using helium balloons, try to break them, or read text on them without any strain on the eyes at the Dr. OLED's Weird LAB section of the booth.

The UDR 2000 OLED panel, which can reach a peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits, is also displayed at the booth. UTG (Ultra Thin Glass), which makes the protection of foldable screens possible, is also being demonstrated at the booth.

Dennis Choi, Executive VP and Head of Mobile Strategic Marketing at Samsung Display, said, “Along with CES 2023 this past January, we created this special exhibition for MWC 2023 so visitors can experience the excellence of Samsung OLED in person. Displays are extremely important in many of today’s electronic devices and often determine the high quality and design of the finished product. We want everyone to be able to experience the benefits of OLED technology and will continue to create a more powerful OLED ecosystem in all areas of daily life, such as smartphones, laptops, and automotive, all connected as one world.
