Samsung had introduced the Galaxy Book Go two months ago. The ARM-powered Windows 10 laptop went on sale in the US last month. Today, the company has launched the Galaxy Book Go in South Korea with a focus on students. The laptop will be available through offline and online retailers as well as the three network carriers in the country: LG Uplus, KT, and SKT.

The Galaxy Book Go is priced at KRW 590,600 (around $510) in South Korea. It will be available in just one color: Silver. Those who buy the Galaxy Book Go by August 10, 2021, will get a funky Wiggle Wiggle pouch and three Disney stickers. Samsung is also offering a 3-month subscription to Millie's e-book service, Hancom Samsung Office pack, a Samsung Home Fitness subscription (to learn dance, pilates, and yoga), and a 3-month subscription to basic services at The Shilla hotel. Students can also use educational content from Samsung.edu for up to two years.

Samsung's new ARM-based laptop features a 14-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD resolution. It is just 14.9mm thin and weighs 1.38kg. The laptop has a 180-degree hinge and an MIL-STD-810-compliant design for drop and shock resistance. It runs Windows 10 and comes equipped with Qualcomm's second-generation Snapdragon 7c processor (clocked at 2.55GHz), 4GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage.

The laptop has a full-sized keyboard and a Windows Precision trackpad. It has a 42.3Whr battery that is claimed to last up to 18 hours on a single charge. Other features of the Galaxy Book Go include an SD card slot, a 720p webcam, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.1, two USB Type-C ports, a USB Type-A port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It comes pre-installed with various Samsung ecosystem features like Galaxy Buds sharing, Galaxy Continuity, Quick Share, Second Screen with compatible Galaxy Tab devices, and SmartThings.
