The entire color range for the Galaxy S21 series was leaked a couple of days ago but Samsung has now officially confirmed what the new color options are all about. The additional colors added to the Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra color palette are custom and they'll only be available throughout the pre-order period.

The Galaxy S21+ will be available for pre-order in Phantom Red and Phantom Gold, in addition to the standard colors known as Phantom Silver, Black, and Violet. Meanwhile, the three new custom color options for the Galaxy S21 Ultra are called Phantom Titanium, Phantom Navy, and Phantom Brown.

The custom colors are available in a limited number of markets

Aside from being available only throughout the pre-order period, the new range of custom colors will be limited to 25 markets at launch and the level of customization on offer may vary by market.

The custom colors are available exclusively through Samsung's online shop but the company is letting customers know early on that, due to the custom nature of the order it will take a few weeks from order to delivery. The good news is that none of these custom colors cost extra.

So, if you're in a hurry to own the Galaxy S21+ or the Galaxy S21 Ultra, you may want to stick to the standard Phantom color options. But if you're looking for a bit of exclusivity in one of the main markets, make sure you pre-order the Galaxy S21 before it's too late and Samsung shelves its custom colors. The pre-order period is January 14 to January 28.
