Google Assistant beats Bixby, Siri, Alexa in this voice assistant test

Digital voice assistants have evolved over time, and now they can handle so many advanced tasks instead of just answering your questions about the weather and doing petty conversions. In the latest voice assistant comparison done by popular YouTuber MKBHD, Google Assistant came out as the best voice assistant, beating Apple's Siri, Samsung's Bixby, and Amazon's Alexa.

It is a no-hidden fact that Google Assistant is the most mature voice assistant available out there when it comes to accuracy and overall features/functionality. Well, it shouldn't be a surprise, as it is backed by Google's powerful AI and all the data that it gathers from all of its users (yes, your data) to provide a better-personalized experience.

Bixby did fairly well, but still lost to Siri by a small margin

So, what's interesting in the test that MKBHD conducted? Well, for starters, all these assistants are good when it comes to general queries such as the weather, setting a timer, etc. Siri, for some reason, cannot set more than one timer, something that Bixby can do easily. The comparisons showed Google Assistant and Samsung Bixby to have the “greatest control over a user's device.” This includes the ability to interact with the apps, take a picture, start voice recording, and more.

Out of all the competitors, Amazon Alexa was the worst performer, thanks to so many things not going their way. First, Alexa isn't integrated into your smartphone, so it doesn't feel as personalized as other voice assistants. Second, and this is the most important thing, Alexa's poor accuracy in finding facts, inability to interact with other apps, and poor conversational models make it a sub-par experience when used on a phone. Amazon advertisements in between are another letdown.

Although Google Assistant was crowned the champion, it solely depends on what gadget you are using. It basically depends on the ecosystem you are most comfortable and invested.
