    Samsung’s new Galaxy Tab A7 budget tablet goes on sale in the USA

    Samsung customers looking to buy a budget Galaxy tablet in the USA will have the opportunity to purchase the company's new 10.4-inch Galaxy Tab A7 by the end of the day. The company announced the launch details not long ago and although the tablet is not yet listed online at the time of writing, it will be available through Samsung's e-shop and Amazon later today for the starting price of $229.

    Samsung will sell the Galaxy Tab A7 in dark gray and gold whereas Amazon will have exclusivity over the silver color option. However, customers buying the tablet from Samsung's online shop before October 25 can take advantage of a 50% discount on the Book Cover Case.

    A 10.4-inch multimedia tablet on a budget

    The Galaxy Tab A7 isn't a powerhouse. It's not meant to be one; instead it was built with the purpose of providing a decent multimedia experience on a budget. It's wrapped in a metal case with cutouts for the quad speakers and a 3.5mm headphone port. The tablet is powered a 7040mAh battery and the Snapdragon 662 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of built-in storage. A 1TB microSD card slot is also present.

    The 10.4-inch display is of the TFT LCD variety and has a resolution of 2000 by 1200. The tablet offers Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, Dolby Atmos surround sound, an 8MP main camera and a 5MP selfie sensor. It runs Android 10 out of the box.
