Sprint will repair your Galaxy screen for $49 even if you’re not a customer

US carrier Sprint is running a great offer for Galaxy smartphone owners, allowing them to repair the broken screen of their Galaxy handset for the very low price of $49. What's better is that you don't have to be a Sprint customer to take advantage of this offer. You can be another carrier's customer and still be eligible for a screen replacement from Sprint.

The carrier's offer applies to a number of Galaxy smartphones but doesn't include the latest flagships. It covers the Galaxy S7, the Galaxy S8 and S9 series, and the Galaxy Note 8. And even if your phone is not eligible for repair, Sprint might be able to take it off your hands in exchange for $150 credit towards the purchase of a new device.

Now, certain terms and conditions do apply. To begin with, the offer stands while supplies last, so perhaps Sprint has an inventory of older Galaxy flagship screens and this is its way to put them to good use. Likewise, the offer lasts until February 9, it's limited to 1 Galaxy screen repair per customer, and Sprint reserves the right to reject phones for repair.

Eligible Galaxy smartphone owners who can visit a Sprint store should try and take advantage of this great deal, especially considering the prices commanded by Samsung's Repair Centers. A front screen replacement for these flagships would normally set you back anywhere between $219 and $239, so the carrier's $49 asking price is very attractive indeed.
