The Galaxy S10 5G has gone on sale in South Korea. Samsung’s home country is understandably the first market to get its 5G device. Now, the first Galaxy S10 5G firmware download is available from our database.

Samsung will eventually bring the Galaxy S10 5G to more markets across the globe. Availability depends on carrier support as well since mobile 5G networks need to be live before the device can be released in a country.

South Korea has become the first country in the world to flip the switch on its mobile 5G networks. The United States will be next when Verizon launches its 5G network on April 11. The Galaxy S10 5G will be exclusive to the country’s largest carrier initially. Recent reports suggest that it may be launched on Verizon next month.

There are some core differences between the Galaxy S10+ and the Galaxy S10 5G. It has a larger display and a bigger battery. It’s also the only model in the entire lineup with a quad camera system. Do check out our Galaxy S10 5G hands-on to learn more about the differences between the two devices.

It has also confirmed that the device will arrive in European markets over the summer as and when 5G networks go live in countries where it’s working with local carriers for support.
