Galaxy Store: The new all-in-one platform for your digital Galaxy needs

Samsung rebranded the Galaxy Apps to Galaxy Store last month, uniting all the features of Galaxy Apps and Galaxy Themes under one platform. The move happened in response to “the diversifying needs of Samsung Galaxy smartphone and smartwatch users.”

The new platform introduces some enhanced features, creating a whole new digital marketplace for Galaxy users. In a Newsroom post today, Samsung described the Galaxy Store as a one-stop shop for Galaxy devices.

A store tailored to your needs

Galaxy Store is the new one-stop platform for all your digital Galaxy needs. From apps and themes, to stickers and fonts, the new market offers a diverse range of content for your Galaxy smartphone. You also get edge panels, camera filters, and many other Galaxy-exclusive content on Galaxy Store.

Galaxy Store also makes recommendations based on seasons, holidays and events, as well as recommendations based around your previous interests. So the next time you access the store, you will see a personalized page with content you might want to check out. Users who are into gaming will be shown the latest in mobile games, while health-conscious users will find recommendations for lifestyle and fitness apps. And to create an engaging way to browse the Galaxy Store, Samsung will be introducing new content to users with videos and other supporting links.

Through the ‘My Galaxy’ tab in the Store, you can customize your device with themes and fonts of your choice. There’s also a separate ‘Watch’ tab for Samsung smartwatch users to download watch faces and apps for their wearable. Gamers can discover new games through the store’s ‘Games’ tab. The new Galaxy Store also offers exclusive in-app purchases and other discounts for popular games. Samsung promises to continue adding new content to the Galaxy Store.

The new Galaxy Store is now rolling out to Samsung devices. You can also download the APK from our database.

Personally I hate that already several years that to get updates of apps I need to visit Galaxy Store => my page => updates. It’s so stupid that update apps automatically takes for this store so long and pop-up that there are updates available is showed only few times. After updates of apps there js still remaining dot with number of updates available so need to go back to updates list and after that it finally disappear. This behavior what I remember is still the same since S8, S9+ and now S10+ and with every new model believe that Samsung… Read more »

I have the same problem. Some apps have new version, but they are not shown in updates page. This is the problem since few years.

Samsung should just cancel this project. 99% of the apps are completely useless and full of ads. Why not reduce bloatware by deleting the Galaxy/Samsung Apps/Store whatever and put everything in the Playstore?

There are apps that are not allowed in the play store that you find in the galaxy store.

Would be definitely nice. At least they should use it for all system apps, instead they update some apps through the galaxy store and some other apps through play store. Unfortunately there is plenty of “invisible” bloatware… but this would be definitely a good starting point (at least let us to choose)

I have to say that now not only you have to update the store if you want to even just open it, but they will also update it in the background even if you did not allow them to do it. Personally i hate this because i own my phone and nobody else can decide for me. Same thing for the new themes store, which will be updated through the galaxy store. Damn sammy, I hoped you had really changed for the better
