That 12GB Galaxy S10+ with 1TB storage rumor isn’t dying down
The rumors about a 12GB Galaxy S10+ variant with 1TB of internal storage aren’t dying down. It’s believed that this configuration will be part of a limited premium version of the Galaxy S10+ that has the ceramic back. We exclusively reported a couple of months ago that Samsung will sell a model of the Galaxy S10 with a ceramic back.
However, there’s no such concrete information available about this memory and storage configuration. Its origins are interesting too, given that this possibility was first highlighted in a general analyst report.
12GB Galaxy S10+ with 1TB storage might be quite expensive
The analyst report in question made predictions about smartphone RAM options for the future. It wasn’t a leak about the 12GB Galaxy S10+ but it was perceived as such by some outlets. Soon the Weibo/Twitter leaker crowed jumped into the fray. They also claimed that there will be a Galaxy S10+ model with these figures.
An anonymous tipster apparently got information from a Samsung representative who had working Galaxy S10 prototypes. They tell GSMArena that a premium version of the Galaxy S10+ will have 12GB RAM and 1TB of internal storage. This version will be sold in limited quantities. All of the reports make this version out to be separate from the 6.7-inch Galaxy S10 X which will have 5G support.
Samsung can obviously put these numbers on the next flagship but it will be stretching the price bracket to an unprecedented level. The Galaxy S10 prices rumored already show that it won’t be cheap by any stretch of the imagination. Its 8GB/512GB configuration is expected to cost a whopping ~$1,480.
Do you think Samsung should offer the 12GB Galaxy S10+ with 1TB storage regardless of how much it costs? More importantly, would you be willing to pay for it? Let us know in the comments below.

no wonder samsung & apple sales decline with very high price of flagships & make expensive mid range & entry level phone & with lousy spec. xiaomi can made cheap phone with flagship chipset & quality too. how many total ppl buying flagship phone compare total ppl buying mid-range or entry level. xiaomi is going in correct direction to earn huge fortune.
Have they seen the McLaren edition of the OnePlus.? Samsung need to really put a competitive price on these phones. Like back when the S7s were made cheaper than the S6!
Instead of putting in unnecessary hardwares, why dont they improve software support? Giving us faster update and 3 years support as charging us more than $1000 for a phone.
Going off another comment I’d probably be interested in paying the price if it came with 8gb ram, 1tb storage and an Intel I7 8700k processor 🤔
If the rumors are true than this must be the Note 10
What about headphones. Any?
Samsung and Apple are having a competition to see who have the highest price on the market. Meanwhile, Chinese OEMs are having a competition to see who have the cheapest price on the market, sending both Samsung and Apple into the graveyard.
Not quite, Huawei (as well as Honor since recently), OnePlus and even Xiaomi are raising their price bar higher ever so slightly year by year. Every company is getting more expensive, not just Samsung and Apple
This is getting ridiculous. Samsung and Apple trying to raise the prices by these silly specbumps, that nobody really needs, just to make the price raise for the regular models for every year that pass , stop it already!
12GB ram is waste i cant even use 8gb ram on my pc with high end games, processor is the main key to the machine
