A dubious-looking image has surfaced online allegedly showcasing the front of the upcoming Galaxy A7 (2018), with its 5.7-inch edge-to-edge Full HD+ Infinity Display and dual front-facing camera—but that's about all it highlights.

Recent leaks and rumors point towards the handset shipping with a 1.6GHz Exynos 7885 octa-core processor, 6GB of RAM and a 3,600mAh battery. It should also come with a 16MP rear-facing camera; though that's far from confirmed.

It's worth mentioning that the Galaxy A7 (2018) photographed in this latest hands-on image matches up to the unit reliable tipster OnLeaks highlighted alongside the Galaxy A5 (2018) in a batch of schematic-based renders last month.

Don't let the picture fool you

That doesn't mean that what we're looking at is the real deal, however. It's not uncommon for people to manipulate pictures of existing smartphones to trick the media—and there's a chance that's what could have happened here.
