It was back when it announced the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge that Samsung accepted it had been pushing software full of lag and stutter down its consumers' throats for many years. Well, the company didn't say it outright, but it did tell us that it had finally optimized its software, that the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge would not have the hiccups TouchWiz had become infamous for. TouchWiz isn't completely cured of its performance problems, and it still can't maintain the fluidity of some competing devices, especially as the months go by and a device gets filled by apps and user data.

With the Galaxy S8, things aren't so bad, and the phone continues to perform as a flagship should. That said, there can be a few instances where the phone can lag or stutter, and these instances can certainly be a nuisance considering the kind of cash one has to cough up to buy a Galaxy S8 or S8+. It's been more than three months since the phone was made available for purchase across the globe, and we here at SamMobile have been wondering what everyone thinks about their S8's performance.

Is it as good for you as it was when you started using the phone, has it slowed down over time, or did you find it has never performed as well as you would have thought it would? Whatever your thoughts, let us know in the comments, and also by voting through the poll!

Results: It looks like a majority of the voters (60 percent) continue to be happy about their S8's performance, while 27 percent of voters say the phone can slow down from time to time but runs well otherwise. A very small percentage of people think the phone's performance sucks, while 8 percent of the voters say they have noticeable lag on their S8. Despite a small percentage, it should be a worrying aspect for Samsung, and hopefully the company will further optimize its software in the near future.
