What’s New With Nougat Part 10: Calendar app gets new, improved interface
Samsung released a new beta for Android 7.0 Nougat on the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, and our latest part in our What’s New With Nougat puts the focus on Samsung’s calendar app. The company’s calendar app has received a major UI overhaul in Nougat – the calendar’s interface now matches the rest of Samsung’s new UX and looks much better than the version that runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and older versions of the OS.
We’re not sure what new features the calendar gets, although we will be sure to update this post once we find something. In the meanwhile, check out the screenshots below to see the new calendar app in action. Will there be a widget again? I missed the calendar widget since lollipop.
Pretty sure, this have to back. Today widget miss so much.
I guess, if you like the bleached-out look. Maybe also it will be quicker to hit the calendar app that to find the torch function. Seriously, is there a more battery and retina friendly version in a black background?
Why don’t you post the firmware? You used to do it in the past… Usual disclaimer, blah, blah, blah… I want this and I’d rather have it from sammobile
Is there any way for me to give feedback to Samsung for this beta program, without actually having it on my phone?

… is this what it’s come down to.. ? stories of excitement on how wonderful a new calendar interface is???? can’t imagine what shock some people will have when they discover Velcro and clocks without a second hand. Innovation went out when skinny jeans and coffee servers took over from working human beings. Hysterical, yet sad.

I’m on naught beta 1, and the calendar app version is 4.02-37 and the app on my phone is not the same like the screen shots showing the app in the above article??

@AHMODA, this is from nougat beta3 so you have to update to the latest one.
