Samsung patents new wireless charger designs

A recently discovered patent filing from Samsung shows that the company has been working on new wireless charger designs. Samsung has illustrated three stylish wireless chargers in its patents and the illustrations suggest that they will look much better than the company’s current flat and disc-like wireless chargers. All three designs are taller which means they will be able to wirelessly charge a smartphone and a smartwatch simultaneously.

The patent mentions that this charger could be used to charge devices like cameras, electronic glasses, smartphones, tablets, smartwatches and other wearable devices. Samsung filed for this patent earlier this year in January and it was recently published by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. It’s unclear when this new wireless charger could hit the market but considering that Samsung will be unveiling the Galaxy Note 7 on August 2, it would make perfect sense for the company to introduce a new wireless charger with its new flagship smartphone.

The Palm Touchstone was a really great design with the tilted face and magnetic alignment. *sigh*

Cool! So I can charge my phone and my watch at the same time.

How is this looking better than current wireless chargers? Especially comparing it to standing charger. I get it, everything new from Samsung has to be better according to this website but please, tone it down a bit. Everything is so perfect and beautiful to you guys. These chargers look rubbish and not very practical to put a phone on
