We've all been in the awkward situation where we're trying to snap a photograph of our food in a restaurant only to have everyone nearby alerted by the low-pitch noise that chimes when we hit the capture button. Thankfully, Samsung has included an option in the default camera application that ships on board the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, which enables you to disable the dreaded shutter sound.
Here's how you do it:
- Open up the Camera application.
- Tap the Settings icon positioned in the top-left corner.
- Scroll straight to the bottom of the screen, then slide the toggle located next to the text Shutter Sound from On to Off.
That's all there is to it. Now the next time you try to take a sneaky photograph, you shouldn't be exposed by the shutter sound. As always, if you happen to run into any issues along the way, do be sure to let us know in the comments section below, and we’ll do our very best to get you back on track.
