How to name your Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge

When you first got your hands on your Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge, I'm sure you blasted through the setup process bypassing all of the tedious configuration tasks, so you could get straight to the home screen in order to experience what Samsung's latest flagship smartphones have to offer.

However, most people fail to give their device a suitable name, which means that when it comes to pairing Bluetooth accessories in a crowded place, pinpointing your handset is nearly impossible — so today we're going to be showing you how to assign a codename to your unit once you've finished the initial setup procedure.

It's actually extremely easy to do. Here's how:

Open up Settings.
Navigate into About Device.
Tap Device Name.
Give your handset a suitable moiker, then hit Save.
