Over the past few weeks there have been rumors that Samsung might introduce a refreshed version of the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. According to latest reports there won't be many changes to the design itself and much of the specifications will remain the same. However Samsung will reportedly swap out the existing Snapdragon 400 processor in favor of the 64-bit Snapdragon 410.

The new processor won't bring a major improvement in the tablet's performance but it will future-proof it so that the tablet can easily run Lollipop and subsequent major updates. All of the other specifications are said to remain the same so expect the 10.1-inch 1280×800 pixel resolution display and 1.5GB of RAM to stick around for a bit longer. Apparently the refreshed tablet will carry the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 VE 10.1 moniker where VE = Value Edition. Pricing and availability information has not been revealed at this point in time.
