Samsung Galaxy S6 Active spotted in AT&T’s inventory list

The Galaxy S6 Active, the ruggedized variant of the recently released Galaxy S6, was leaked last month, and we exclusively revealed its hardware specifications. Later, it passed the Bluetooth certification and was also spotted in the Indian import listings. Now, we have received some information, which confirms that SM-G890 is indeed the Galaxy S6 Active, and that AT&T will carry the Galaxy S6 Active, when it launches later this year.

As per our insider information, the Galaxy S6 Active will feature a 5.1-inch QHD Super AMOLED display, Android 5.0 Lollipop, octa-core Exynos 7420 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, maybe a microSD card slot (maybe), a 16-megapixel primary camera, and a 5-megapixel secondary camera. Thanks to increased dimensions (73.6 x 146.9 x 8.8 mm), Samsung has fit in a large 3,500 mAh battery.

I’ve heard that the camera on the S6 Active wont be as good as on the S6. Can SamMobile or anyone else confirm or deny this? I’d buy a S6, but would hang out for the S6 Active if the camera is just a good (or at least a very good camera) and the battery has a longer life than the S6.
