There's good news today for people in the United States who have been wondering just how much the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge will cost in their country. Major carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile have already confirmed that they will start taking pre-orders for both devices from tomorrow. They have also revealed pricing details so customers now know what the devices will cost on Ma Bell and Magenta. The country's largest mobile carrier has still not provided this information though.
Verizon is going to start taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge on April 1st. No word on the pricing as yet from the carrier. Given that April 1st is just a few days away, customers wishing to pick up Samsung's latest smartphones from Big Red should find out soon enough how much they will have to pay.
Update: Verizon Wireless has just revealed pricing for all models the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge. With a new two-year contract the 32GB, 64GB and 128GB models of the Galaxy S6 will cost $199.99, $299.99 and $399.99 respectively after $50 mail-in rebate. The Galaxy S6 edge will cost $299.99, $399.99 and $499.99 respectively after $50 mail-in rebate also with a two-year contract.
Verizon's full retail pricing for both handsets is the lowest yet from any carrier in the United States. The three models of the Galaxy S6 can be purchased outright for $599.99, $699.99 and $799.99. The Galaxy S6 edge will be available outright for $699.99, $799.99 and $899.99 respectively. The carrier will only be selling these handsets in Black Sapphire and White Pearl colors.
