Verizon never leaves a chance to brand a smartphone once it arrives on its network, and with the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge, things will be no different. In a tweet confirming that it will be carrying the S6 and S6 edge, Verizon has revealed that both handsets with come with the carrier's brand and 4G LTE logos on the back, in addition to the name of the handset itself.

On the unlocked variants, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge only have the word Samsung on the back, so it seems Verizon is pretty serious about leaving its mark on what are among the best designed Samsung smartphones till date. Of course, it's not that most users would flip the phones over too often, though considering the stunning glass backs of the S6 and S6 edge, some folks might be reminded all too often of whom they're paying their monthly phone bills.

The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge will arrive on Verizon in “early Q2”, which means the carrier will probably be a part of the April 10 launch date.
