Yesterday, we released exclusive screenshots showcasing the Android 5.0 Lollipop build running on the Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition. Now, we bring you some exclusive screenshots from an early build of Android 5.0 Lollipop for the Galaxy Note 4. As you can see in the images, many applications and UI elements have been updated with Google's new ‘Material Design' approach. The notifications pull down menu is now translucent, but unlike the Galaxy A3 and the Galaxy A5, the placement of the S Finder icon hasn't been changed yet. This could change by the time Samsung releases the final build of the Android 5.0 ROM for the Galaxy Note 4. The settings menu now features side scrollable tabs for different sections such as quick settings, connections, device settings, and more. There's now an on-screen back button in the settings sub-menus. All the native applications such as messages, dialler, calendar, email, task manager, and clock have been updated with Material design. You could also notice shortcuts for slow-motion and fast time video (time lapse videos) modes in the camera app.
As of now, we don't know the tentative date for the release of Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Galaxy Note 4, but we will keep you updated as and when we receive information from our reliable sources. Previously, we have released screenshots and videos of the Galaxy S5, the Galaxy Note 3, and the Galaxy S4 GPe running Android 5.0 Lollipop builds.
